Description:

Two and a half stage, expendable designed to provide launch service to GEO-synchronous transfer orbit.

Incorporating two strap-on CHEETAH-1 liquid boosters with a central CHEETAH-2 liquid core booster the CHEETAH-5 is designed to capitalize on the development, manufacturing and operational experience afforded by the CHEETAH-1 and 2 programs for dedicated service to Geosynchronous orbit.

Geosynchronous Orbit – 2000 kg (4410 lbm)

Propulsion:

Three MAS-860K regeneratively cooled, gas generator cycle engines as per CHEETAH-1 & 2. The second stage incorporates two MAS-58K regeneratively cooled, gas generator cycle engines as per CHEETAH-1 & 2 or one MAS-120K engine.

Avionics:

As per CHEETAH-2 configuration.
